“peace warrant” on a suspect in Hot Springs

Chief Kavanaugh was shot and killed on January 2nd, 1924 while attempting to
arrest a suspect in a log cabin at 8th and B Street in Anchorage. He died
the next day.

bootleg alcohol on a farm near Seldovia. His killer then committed suicide.
